[Warhammer-Community]Art for a Year, plus a Pair of Paperbacks

Recommended Posts

We’re looking ahead to 2018 with this weekend’s new release – the official Black Library Calendar. This is a large wall calendar features twelve incredible Black Library covers from across the Horus Heresy, Primarchs, Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar ranges. Work by eight artists is represented, including a pair of Horus Heresy covers by Neil Roberts, Mikhail Savier’s art for ‘Fulgrim: The Palatine Phoenix’ and ‘Ferrus Manus: The Gorgon of Medusa’, and Raymond Swanland’s cover for ‘Black Legion’. The calendar includes a notable quotation from each title, and the art measures a mighty 30cm by 42cm – positively huge! You can order your calendar now, perfect for keeping track of your important dates next year.

Meanwhile, you can also order paperbacks of two novels previously only physically available in hardback editions. ‘The Eye of Medusa’ by David Guymer tells the story of Kardan Stronos, hero of the Iron Hands Chapter of Space Marines, as he leads his warriors into battle against the taint of treachery on a forge world. It explores the duality of the Iron Hands and their philosophy of the weakness of the flesh and delves into more detail about Kardan Stronos.

It’s not just the Imperium being explored though, as Gav Thorpe’s ‘Jain Zar: The Storm of Silence’ has also hit paperback. The novel pits the legendary founder of the Howling Banshees Aspect against the equally renowned Farseer Eldrad Ulthran, as they disagree over the best way to prosecute a war that could save or damn Ulthwé. Which path will the aeldari take? Order the novel and find out.

You can order both novels in paperback (along with the calendar!), ready to be dispatched next week, or download the eBooks right now and start reading straight away.
