Hey Guys- I read a great article today on BoW and wanted to link it. http://www.beastsofwar.com/painting-and-hobby/threecolours-minimum/ It's basically about the three colour minimum scheme that once determined if you could attend a GW tournament. Over the years, I've had a lot of conversations about using 3rd party miniatures in tournaments, and how a good selection of the gaming audience supports that, but what about painting? I mean, if someone brings a fully painted 3rd party models with proper representation be better than a grey (or pewter) legion? Just looking to stir up some conversation. I'd suggest reading the article first.

So with all the trickle down news they've been feeding us, it looks like a June release is inevitable. With that said, is anyone else doing stuff to get prepared for the next edition? Planning a new army, painting an existing one, maybe doing up a new table of terrain? For me personally, I've been looking to expand a few of my smaller factions but was really hoping there would be a bit more leaks at this point. With all of the changes, I really have high hopes for Orks being at the very least, mid tier and was looking at potentially expanding them. As well, i've been looking more and more into creating a mad max style wasteland table that's been looted/occupied by you guessed it, ORKS haha. I am lucky enough to still have some bitcoins stashed away to help with these endeavors but am nervous to pull the trigger for fear that I won't like what they did with XYZ. So, what's everyones hobby goals/ideas/plans going into 8th? Sticking with the same army? Maybe exploring a new faction or more of a wait and see attitude ? Would love to hear everyones plans!
